Company Background
Spot Press is Australia’s only privately owned commercial heatset printer and one of a handful of contract newspaper printers. Spotpress is Australia’s main printer for the multicultural media sector of Australia. With over four hundred and fifty loyal clients, Spotpress prides itself on working closely with every single one of them, no matter how large or small they may be, to deliver a competitive edge.
Gateways Role
Gateway partnered with Spot Press to deliver a number of Nationally recognized courses for their staff. To ensure all of their staff were upskilled Gateway delivered Certificate III’s in Supply Chain Operations and Business and Certificate IV’s in Business and Leadership and Management.
The units were selected to ensure staff learned practical on the job skills that would enhance Spot Press’ workforce. Since undertaking the training Spot Press has seen a reduction in staff turnover, increase customer satisfaction and increase in staff capability.
Moving forward
We plan to roll out more training programs and are excited about the opportunity to undertake some short courses to supplement what was learned in the full qualifications.

Gateway’s Role
Gateway partnered with Pharmacy 4 Less to roll out a programme of Nationally Recognised training, comprising of Customer Service, Retail and Dispensary units. The training delivered was largely Service based and so much of the focus was around boosting customer satisfaction levels and staff’s product understanding and knowledge as well as areas for improvement in existing business processes and external environment. Since implementing the program, Pharmacy 4 Less have been reaping the rewards including increased customer satisfaction, Improvements in staff’s product knowledge, efficiency and presentation through implementation of retails units, and greater understanding of their processes.
Going forward, Pharmacy 4 Less plan to roll out continual training programs, in both skill sets and full qualifications into all their departments including Retail, Dispensary, Administration, Finance and HR so that they too can share in the success story.

My Right Choice was established by Jubran Yousif to provide high quality services to people with disability.
Jubran lives with a physical disability himself, as a result of a car accident in 1993, so he understands the importance of having high quality services. He established My Right Choice to ensure people with disability could access the high quality services they needed.
Jubran arrived in Australia as a refugee from Iraq with his wife and two children in 2015. He understands the difficulties and obstacles of fitting-in, but in a short time, he has made some remarkable achievements as a result of his hard work and dedication.
Jubran is passionate about helping others with disability achieve their goals, just like he achieves his own and has been involved in the disability sector through various roles since he arrived in Australia, including as a peer-support person and a specialised support coordinator.
Gateway’s Role
Gateway partnered with My Right Choice to upskill and qualify their Staff through a Nationally Recognised Training Course in Individual Support. The training delivered was centred around understanding the industry’s regulations and providing a quality service around caring for disabled & ageing persons. Since implementing the program, My Right Choice have been gaining in confidence in their Staff’s ability to increase customer satisfaction, their own processes/product knowledge, efficiency and representation in facilities or homes.
Going forward, My Right Choice is growing, so the plan is to keep on rolling out training programs to all new staff, to meet compliance & better service our Industry. My Right Choice is dedicated to providing people with disability in Sydney, the best possible care so that they can continue to live independently at home and achieve their goals.

Gateway partnered with Jasmine Care upon inception to help its business grow and become self-sustainable through the Boosting Apprenticeship/Traineeship Commencement Program to deliver several Nationally recognised courses for their staff. This ensured all their staff were qualified in Industry compliance and focused on customer skills through Certificate III in Customer Engagement and Business Certificates.
Moving forward
As Jasmine Care evolves, it plans to roll out more Employment positions and thus more training programs across all their Staff and are excited about the opportunity to work with Gateway Training in reaching their visions & goals as one of the Home Care Services of choice.
